Mr. Mohammed Sahoo AlSuwaidi,
Chairman of Equilibrium Engineering Consultancy (EEC),
is a highly respected and well-known industry leader in both facilitating of the Full -Field Development of Oil & Gas Plans (FFDP) and Nuclear Energy sectors within and outside the UAE.
Mr. Sahoo AlSuwaidi started his professional career with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) after graduating from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering in 1984. He went on to serve ADNOC for more than three decades in various capacities in plant operations, including the successful execution and management of various major and mega sized Full Field Development of Oil & Gas projects including formation of joint ventures operating companies such as ADNOC Sour Gas (former Al Hosn Gas – A joint Venture of -ADNOC and Occidental) after entering Field -Entry and Concession Agreement.
Mr. Sahoo AlSuwaidi worked as “Strategy, Techno-Economic & Project Management Advisor” for full field development plan (FFDP) of Ruvu Block in Tanzania for 2 years and dealt with The Petroleum Upstream Regulatory Authority (PURA) and Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC).
During his tenure with ADNOC he served in several execute level positions, including Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Gas Processing (Former Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Limited (GASCO)) and Director, ADNOC Gas Directorate. While he was at the helm with GASCO and ADNOC all gas related companies grew exponentially through substantial capital investments, leading to around ten times increase in production levels.
In 2016 Mr. Sahoo AlSuwaidi as a Board Member of Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (“ENEC”) was assigned as an additional responsibility to set up the nuclear operating company, Nawah Energy Company (“Nawah”), a subsidiary of Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC), where he served as Acting Chief Executive Officer until he relinquished his service to form Equilibrium Engineering Consultancy in 2018.
During his distinguished career with ADNOC and Nawah he served as a Board Member on various ADNOC and nuclear energy related companies, as well as on several UAE Federal and Abu Dhabi Government organisations. He has also served as Chairman of various steering committees, on a variety of subjects including planning and agreement, negotiating and auditing.
